Martina is one of the most energetic and charismatic people I know and a dynamic presence on the London art scene. She has a great passion and enthusiasm for contemporary art and for developing not only her own insight into contemporary culture, but also in journeying with others in a way that is intelligent, inspirational and fun.
Martina grew up in a feverishly artistic family and was exposed from an early age to 3 major art forms: painting, poetry and music. A talented young pianist, daughter of a famous Hungarian poet and musician, her education as well as her personal skills and sensibilities have endowed her with an eclectic and open-minded eye for every aspect of the art world, past and contemporary. Added to this, Martina is a natural born communicator with genuine empathy that allows her to effortlessly connect with people no matter what background
I first met Martina 8 years ago at the Serpentine Gallery and she struck me as one of the warmest and most intellectually curious people I'd ever encountered. Together, we've seen and discussed a lot of art since then and her unquenchable curiosity is backed up by a strong instinct for the most interesting - and not just the most obvious - artists, gallerists and spaces in London. She lives and breathes contemporary art, chews it all up and the resulting digest for me is intellectual soul food, garnished with brilliant humour.
Martina is not only a passionate art lover, writer and entrepreneur but also a brilliant social networker. With her unique and captivating ability to spread knowledge and to connect people she manages to make everyone she meets feel validated. With her six languages she is a cosmopolitan world citizen who with humour and intelligence manages to build bridges between people, cultures and art.
