Altgitarr: an album where music for alto guitar recorded by Nils Klöfver merges with the drawings of Jenny Svenberg Bunnel to form a limited edition vinyl LP recording where each cover sleeve is a piece of art in itself.
The driving force behind this project is the idea of combining different genres and audiences to discover what happens in the very moment they meet.
Filming a music video where Jenny was live drawing as Nils was performing the prelude by Bach was the beginning of this project. To launch the finished Vinyl LP there was a release party in London at curator Martina Domonkos Klemmer’s home with a live concert by Nils and live drawing by Jenny with an audience of 60 people from the art and music world. This is a very important aspect within the Dorothea Art Initiatives; to create a collective and meet under the umbrella of Art.

The drawings by Jenny Svenberg Bunnel are individually signed and numbered by her and Giclee Printed on Goya Paper from Tumba Bruk, 1970
The prints are separately hand mounted on to the LP sleeve and come in 3 different editions.

We ended up with a total of 240 editions by chance simply because that was the amount left behind by late Swedish artist Sven Bunnel and there are no more available which makes these even more special.
